Do you need to be based in the US to pick up work through Freelance Work Exchange? Certainly not, as Ajay Chadha has already discovered.

"I have been working as a full time freelancer for the last two years," says Ajay. "Working as a freelance professional is a great experience. You are an office in yourself - you are the boss, you are the worker. I personally feel that working freelance allows you to earn even more money."

Ajay is an Indian citizen living in Jalandhar in India, where he is currently pursuing his Master's in Information
Technology. Because the number of programming jobs is limited locally, Ajay turned to the web to find freelance work.

"There are a lot of web sites now a days from where you can get freelance work according to your skill set," he says. "I have worked through most of these sites, providing my skills to service buyers. But the one that I have personally prefer to work with is Freelance Work Exchange The best thing about this site is that you'll find a wide variety of jobs to choose from, like writing jobs, graphic design jobs, programming jobs, etc. New projects are added daily, so there is always a good selection of work."

Ajay won his first project on Freelance Work Exchange in February. The job was to design a professional and creative logo. He saw the job posted in the Jobs Database, and contacted the client via email. She replied to say she found his work very to be very creative, and the next day, Ajay was hired.

He was delighted that everything went so smoothly.
