Your Questions About Home Business

Mary asks…

What a good home business I can start for someone who has a background in Computer?

I want to start my own home business, but I don’t know what I could do with a background in Computer. I know I don’t want to programming. I’m good at most everything else though. I was thinking about blogging, but I don’t know it you can make good money from blogging. Any ideas?

Rob answers:

You certainly can make good money from blogging. As a matter of fact, there is a rising class of individuals who call themselves ‘professional bloggers’ and literally quit their day jobs to blog. It’s not easy though. Blogging for many requires a lot of hard work and dedication. You have to learn the market. You have to learn how to optimize your blog for search engines and social media sharing websites. I listed two resources below for learning how to make money blogging. It’s of course important to count the cost first. Ask yourself if you are willing to spend at least 35 hours per week on your blogs to get them started. And after that, you are looking at at least 20 hours per week to maintain them and keep up with the competition.
